As the nights draw in and temperatures start to drop, Gandy said, “Statement socks are really having a moment right now, but it’s so important to get it right, especially on your special day.

“If the groomsmen are wearing similar or same attire, a sophisticated touch would be for them to all be wearing matching socks. It’s a detail that doesn’t go overlooked.”

“Grooms can use the embroidery service to add personalisation for each individual, which is a lovely sentimental touch when gifting to a best man and groomsmen.”

“I believe in keeping wedding attire classic and understated. Pocket squares and socks are a great way to add some detail, colour and individuality, whatever your role as a guest or groom.”

With the bespoke wedding service, customers can personalise their socks, using the specialist embroidery package, adding their initials, the special date, or whatever takes their fancy, so they’ll have a lasting memento of their nuptials. It’s also a perfect opportunity for the groom to thank his best man by gifting him a pair of socks, packaged up in a luxury box, accompanied with a personal message.

Within the stylish range, Gandy, voted GQ’s Most Stylish Man, donates 10% of sales to the company’s nominated charity, Style for Soldiers. The company was founded by Ryan Palmer and Dave Pickard who left their jobs in the city to start their journey with a simple observation: people really do notice your socks.

After launching in 2014, the company has exceeded more than a million in revenue in 2017 with over 15,000 traditional e-commerce customers and more than 5,000 monthly subscription buyers.

Co-founder Palmer said, “We saw a wonderful opportunity to add flair and personality to men’s outfits, so we designed a collection of elegant and stylish socks for the man about town.”

“Our socks are also a perfect fit for classic, traditional British weddings, and we wanted to provide our customers with something truly personal for the groom and groomsmen.”

Ryan and Dave are ex-corporate professionals who left their jobs with an ambition to create a truly exciting and aspirational menswear brand, focused on quality, assured style and social responsibility.

They’re now on a mission: to help modern men add style and personality and to be noticed for the right reasons by simply wearing quality, stylish socks. The pair travel around Europe in search of only the highest quality materials and knitting methods that can help improve their brand. They continue to do this to ensure their product has the right care and attention to be the best in the market.

All their products are knitted from the highest standard. They challenge, test and refine their sock-knitting methods at every stage, focusing entirely on the quality, comfort and fit of the socks. Clients include high-profile actors Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds, Casey Affleck, Matt Smith and Tom Hiddleston.
