This was a well-photographed trend gracing Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Giorgio Armani catwalks this year. This winter, wear it from head to toe; this rich, warming burgundy colour suits any welldressed man.
Mix patterns and textures for maximum impact. The best part? It works well on any skin tone. If this seems a little bold for you, it can be broken up with a well-placed dash of navy or cream.
For example, team a high-textured patch-pocket Giorgio Armani jacket and a tonal cashmere scarf with a crisp white Eton shirt and some navy cotton jeans for a smarter sophisticated look.
Another key colour this season is moss green, making up for the lack of green foliage on our trees; it’s time to add this rich sophisticated shade of green to our casual wardrobes. So, it is time to invest in these earthy tones. You can introduce these colours in a subtle way, starting with knitwear or a scarf, leaving the rest of the outfit a modest navy, grey or black.
New to TURNERS this season: The perfect Christmas gift idea for the man who has everything is Sartoria Tramarossa. These jeans were founded in 1967 by Chemello Urban. His sons reinvented their father’s jean brand in 2003 and began to produce tailored jeans that are identifiable by the two red lines that mark its selvedge. These distinctive jeans are made in the Veneto region of Italy.
Trammorrosa have developed a way so each pair of jeans can be personalized by the wearer by adding their initials using metal letters. Each pair is perfumed and individually packaged putting them in a league of their own.
Here at TURNERS FOR MEN, we are continually looking for new and luxurious products to offer in our independent shop on Crouch Street West, Colchester in Essex, England, making us a true destination store. Since 1994 we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service.
